QingCloud Library ReadingQingCloud Library ReadingQingCloud Library Reading is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies contemporary approaches to creating multifunctional literary spaces. This creative bookstore concept, spanning 220 square meters, masterfully combines retail, leisure, and cultural elements through its sophisticated architectural design. The space's most striking feature is its central cylindrical structure at the entrance, which creates a compelling visual focal point while serving as an architectural statement piece. The design philosophy emphasizes spatial fluidity through the strategic placement of built-up shelves on both sides of the central element, effectively managing visitor flow while providing intimate reading environments. The project's material palette incorporates wood veneer, processed glass, color coating, and stainless steel, creating a refined aesthetic that balances warmth with contemporary sophistication. The interior's thoughtful layout addresses the dual challenges of maximizing book display capacity and creating an alluring entrance through its innovative use of continuous and discontinuous forms, enhanced by suggestive lighting effects. Completed in 2019, this architectural achievement has garnered significant recognition, including the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its exceptional contribution to retail space design. The space transcends the traditional concept of a bookstore by incorporating boutique accessories and coffee services, creating a holistic cultural destination that promotes both commerce and contemplation. The design's success lies in its ability to maintain a delicate balance between functional requirements and aesthetic excellence, while creating distinct zones that encourage exploration and extended visits.
