Sky Tree LandscapeSky Tree LandscapeSky Tree Landscape is an award-winning architectural landscape design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of Eastern philosophical principles with contemporary spatial design. The project showcases a sophisticated integration of axis-based layout, thoughtfully crafted empty spaces, geometric framing, and overlapped depth perspectives to create a distinctive relaxation area with independent features. At its core, the design incorporates traditional Chinese symbolism through the strategic placement of five doctor pines, historically associated with governmental promotion in ancient China, while a central sculptural element depicting a resting horse on verdant grass serves as a metaphorical representation of poise and nobility. The landscape's sophisticated water feature, designed as a jade belt, not only serves to regulate the microclimate but also creates a poetic garden atmosphere that transforms with varying vantage points. The southeast section features elegant frangipani trees combined with geometric framing devices that create a warm, romantic southern country ambiance, enhanced by natural light filtering through the foliage. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Landscape Planning and Garden Design category, masterfully connects different spaces through carefully planned traffic flows and artistic elements, transforming the environment into an Eastern-influenced sanctuary characterized by symmetry, layered complexity, and multifunctional spaces. The innovative approach to spatial organization and the integration of traditional Eastern design principles with modern landscape architecture demonstrates a profound understanding of cultural heritage while meeting contemporary lifestyle needs.
