Introduction
The category 998, “Disqualified, Eliminated and Suspended Design Award” is a temporary concealed category that your entry might be moved to before complete and permanent disqualification. If your design is moved to this category, you should get in touch with support within 3 days to resolve any issues. In most cases, you will be required to submit additional materials or evidence. Issues that could result in your design moved to this category might include but not limited to legal issues such as copyright or third-party intellectual property issues as well as technical issues such as incompliance with presentation guidelines. If your design is moved to this category, within 3 days, you should resolve all issues or reply to our support, providing any evidence or material needed. If you do not comply with legal requirements, evidence or material submissions within 3 days, your entry would be marked as disqualified and eliminated. Disqualification is different from withdrawing a design; when a design is withdrawn it is graciously removed from the competition, however when a design is disqualified you get a penalty in your Designer Rankings; i.e. you will get negative points towards your designer rankings. If your design is moved to this category and if you believe you will be unable to resolve issues or provide evidence within three (3) days, you should better request your design to be withdrawn from the competition. We have created this page in case you search for what the "Disqualified, Eliminated and Suspended Design Award" category is, that your entry might have moved to. |
