- Enhanced Presentation Quality and Fair Evaluation
A' Design Award's Entry Assistant guides your brand through our presentation standards and helps you make a better presentation, and if you follow the presentation guidelines this would help reduce presentation bias that could unfairly impact jury scoring at A' Design Award Competitions if your presentation was bad, so our aim is to help you have a better presentations. With better presentation, your designs receive evaluation based on intrinsic merit rather than superficial presentation differences when following A' Design Award Entry Assistant's comprehensive guidelines - i.e. if you make your presentation really good it does not stay behind others in terms of visual presentation and thus would not be subject to a bias (or would be less bias). The reduction of presentation bias aligns with cognitive psychology's halo effect theory, which demonstrates how visual presentation quality influences perception of actual content quality as well as A' Design Award & Competition's own research, that is, standardized presentations neutralize this effect to enable fair judgment. In simple terms, when all entries look equally professional, judges focus on actual design quality rather than being distracted by how well or poorly something is presented, and that's why A' Design Award invests in helping all laureates have good presentation so the results could be more fair, ethical and meritocratic.
- Global Media and PR Optimization
High-resolution images and quality content you prepare thanks to following A' Design Award's Entry Assistant suggestions may become media-ready assets for international distribution across A' Design Award's extensive media network. Value maximization operates on economic utility theory - proper resource allocation at entry stage is likely to yield disproportionately higher returns through comprehensive service activation versus incomplete submissions, especially remembering how big the A' Design Prize is. The preliminary scoring system provided through A' Design Award helps identify strengths and weaknesses of your design before final jury evaluation and the Entry Assistant can help you understand preliminary jury eedback better and guide you to make improvements to your submission. Probability optimization leverages behavioral economics' prospect theory, where proper framing and presentation are likely to shift evaluation from loss-aversion to gain-recognition mindset among jurors. - Brand Consistency and Premium Positioning
Following A' Design Award Entry Assistant's presentation guidelines ensures your brand appears alongside other premium brands with equal professional polish in A' Design Award's showcases (if and when your design is a winner). Standardized excellence through A' Design Award's system prevents your brand from appearing amateur compared to competitors and this is important because many of A' Design Award categories are not graphic design focused so most entrants are not very capable of making proper graphic and visual presentations even if they excel at creating world class architecture or world leading product designs, and that is exactly why we have created the Entry Assistance together with detailed presentation guidelines to help you close the presentation-gap (Presentation Gap in Design Awards is the difference of presentation quality between entrants to graphic design and visual categories (presentation professionals) versus the quality of presentations by architects, product manufacturer brands or industrial designers (professionals whose job is design but not design presentation), here A' Design Award helps non-presentation professionals such as architects, industrial designers, product manufacturers to make better presentations. We agree that everyone should be good at presentation but we also see the reality that an industrial designer or engineer who may have created an exceptional product may not be good at presenting it initially, and not helping them polish their diamond of a design would be an intellectually suboptimal choice). Premium positioning leverages social proof and comparative evaluation theory, where consistent high-quality presentation among peer brands is likely to elevate collective prestige and individual brand perception. In simple words, when your brand looks as good as luxury brands in the same showcase, customers see your brand as equally premium.
- Multi-lingual Market Expansion Enablement

With our Entry Assistant, you can get help in your own language and moreover, access to A' Design Award opens doors to international recognition and PR distribution in local markets worldwide, so using Entry Assistant, you can speak your language, get help in making the submission in English (here you may ask why we don't automatically translate the entry text from your language to English and ask you to provide it in English, we are more than capable to automatically translate it but we don't to ensure your English text is Exactly as what you intended, this is done to avoid translation mistakes especially during jury presentation, we want you to have the final voice, so you know it is your textual description that is evaluated by the jury and not some machine translation, the fact that all the visuals and text comes from you directly makes the A' Design Award & Competition more fair and ethical, without any bias - in the end you can use translation services to translate the texts to English but at least this way, you can double and triple check the translations and control the nuance, and nuance matters). Market expansion enablement utilizes network effects theory from economics, where reducing language barriers is likely to create exponential value through access to previously unreachable markets and audiences. Put plainly, when your teams can enter in their own language, your brand can compete and win globally without hiring translators.

Entry Assistant - The Complete Story
When you join the A' Design Award, your experience could be rather positively different yet also difficult from what you got used to as a consumer of awards and recognition platforms, especially because of what we are and what we represent; Many awards and recognition programs make it very easy to nominate a design, in many cases even the payment form and nomination form is the same; while you pay you put the URL of your project and done, and this is of course bad design, and that's why A' Design Award does not engage in this kind of bad design. You may ask, why would it bad design to make it super easy for people to nominate their design, it sounds more like cool and smart? On the surface, it indeed does sound smart and easy, to simply put a URL, and join an award, however to better understand why it is bad design to simply just put a URL, let us explain why we don't do it; first of all (1) if you want to organize a serious award, you need to have a level of standardization in presentations, this is relevant because jury is subject to presentation bias if you don't do so (the presentation bias increases as the presentation variety increases, the best solution is to help all entrants have very good presentations), at A' Design Award not only we have guidelines for standardized submission, but also we employ multiple mechanisms such as the preliminary jurors, real people checking your design, evaluating your work and providing your work with a preliminary design score as well as feedback on your entry together with detailed technical reminders on how to make your presentation compliant, and with such a mechanism, the A' Design Award makes your presentation good, and it is not just you; by uplifting the quality of all entries, the A' Design Award reduces presentation bias; when jurors vote on your designs, if all entries are equally well presented, they focus more on the intrinsic qualities of your work. (2) When you upload your work to A' Design Award, you are providing us the necessary legal permissions to promote your work, and more importantly, you are allowing A' Design Award to host your work, so when you upload your work, we host it for you, we keep a copy, and this copy becomes highly useful to send your work to journalists, editors, press members, newspapers, magazines as well as to showcase in our platform at winner's list as an image (rather than just a link), to consumers, clients, customers, buyers as well as potential investors. In addition to online showcases, A' Design Award publishes and promote each work in hundreds of publications, in over 108+ languages, with your images, text and content at our hand, we can make articles about you and your design, we can make press releases with images, we can distribute your press releases and we can provide you with a real public relations campaign; so at A' Design Award, you get a Global PR Campaign, and for making a Global PR Campaign, a simple URL does not cut it. (3) If an award wants to create you real value after your win, they need to have more data at the start, most of these put URL get logo awards are very low priced and also combine the easy to join (just give us an URL approach), then how do you think they would provide you post-result services? Do you think they have the financial possibility to hire people to contact you and contact you when the cost of submission costs less than 1 hour of salary in developed countries? Simply most don't, because who will contact you to ask more details, who will call you to ask you to upload image to send to press? Let's assume they use AI or automation, even AI is not free and automation requires upfront investment. For sure some may do, but most will not. The problem is not that they don't provide you the service, it is the fact that they know they would not be able to provide you the service but still use big words like prestige, publicity, advertising campaign in their marketing copy; even when there is little or no jury, even when there is little or no evaluation mechanism, so the problem with these awards is the fact that they leverage to your disadvantage the information asymmetry between entrants and awards. (4) When we designed the A' Design Award, we synthetically designed it based on research, we constructed the A' Design Award ground up to create value for its winners, because our aim with A' Design Award is to make the world a better place with good design; we believe that superior products and projects benefit and advance society, therefore we want to reward with a truly grand prize all the designers, architects, engineers, creative agencies, brands, product manufacturers and institutions who create superior design, efficient products, sustainable projects that create value for our planet, to the highest extent possible; we work hard to create fame, prestige and publicity by providing over 188+ services and benefits to our laureates (for example we organize an annual red-carpet black-tie Gala Night and Awards Ceremony for networking and press coverage, international design exhibitions where winning projects are physically and digitally showcased, we provide inclusion in the prestigious hardcover and digital A' Design Award winner yearbooks distributed to industry professionals worldwide, full global PR and advertising campaigns with multilingual press-release preparation and syndication to international media, professional photography and video coverage at the gala, inclusion in Designer Rankings and World Design Rankings to establish long-term credibility, extensive editorial features in global media networks such as IDNN, DXGN and DNWN, syndication across design platforms including Designers.org, Designer.org and Design Legends, executive-level networking through Prime Clubs, the World Design Consortium, opportunities for museum collection placements and enterprise showcases, dedicated full-page yearbook features with co-authorship credit, professional pagination and quality-controlled layouts, branded newsroom and hosted media kits for journalists, daily digital promotions and curated features (Designer of the Day, Design Team of the Day, Design Highlight of the Day, Design Brand of the Day, Design Trend of the Day, Design Idea of the Day), personalized certificates for team members, prestige symbols such as the Omega particle trophy, gold desk flag, framed award certificate, access to marketing toolkits, trend reports and strategic intelligence forecasts, global advertising placements tailored by language and culture, translation of your winner project into 108+ languages, and nomination prospects for distinguished titles such as Designer of the Year, Innovator of the Year, and Design Brand of the Year.) so all these services are complex, high value services, and we cannot do it simply by you providing us with a URL, even if we could, it would not be as high quality as you would hope, that's why, A' Design Award, with its desire to provide you extremely high quality services, and not only a big number but a big number of highly valuable services, has a more difficult, bureaucratic and time consuming entry process, because we want to (1) initially have good text and data that can be (a) useful for jury to evaluate your work fairly (b) can later be sent to journalists, media, press and editors to help publish you (c) can be used in creation of showcases to present your work better to prospective clients, consumers and customers (d) can be used as an ingredient so we can provide you with high-quality, high-impact, high-worth advertising, publicity, promotion, branding, marketing and legacy building services. (2) we really care you as a designer, creative agency or brand, that's why when you upload your design we provide you with a free score before you even pay us anything, we tell you, via our preliminary review system whether your design is good or not and whether it is properly presented or not, if we had made a simpler system where you type in a URL part of the submission form, you would not have any of such benefits, our system is not difficult; it is respectful, but comparatively, when you compare to non-respecting systems who don't care how to provide benefits after you win, it may initially look difficult, we have to explain this so you understand better. Remember, when you upload your work to the A' Design Award, you start a respectful process; first, we present you with entry guidelines, and when you upload your work, we check your work free of charge if it is good or not, we provide you with a preliminary score from zero (0) worst to ten (10) best. We tell you how good your design is, we tell you how to better present your design, we tell you how to make your presentation good so it does not get a biased evaluation, in the end we push you, many times, to have a perfect presentation ready for fair judging. When your work is judged, it is judged anonymously by hundreds of jurors from almost all major countries, this is democratic, representative and most importantly because our jury panel is composed for leading design professionals, academics, scholars, as well as journalists, editors as well as outstanding designers, architects and brand representatives, who vote on entries on pre-established criteria following blind peer-review process, the result is fair and meritocratic, and in the end once you are announced as a winner, we almost have everything we need to start your grand PR campaign. This is not bureaucracy, this is not difficult, this is respectful to you, and because it is respectful, it takes time for many designers to make an entry to A' Design Award. We are lucky to interact with world's best designers each year and we listen to them, as such we know our system is complex, and at first looks difficult, and for that reason, over the years we have been making improvements to help laureates complete the requirements for A' Design Award entry easier. The preliminary jury feedback and preliminary review process (provided to you confidential, and completely free of charge with the compliments of A' Design Awards, without putting you under obligations to nominate a work) as well as our real support, in addition to presentation guidelines before submission as well as simplified entry pages for first time registrants are some ways we address these, however to help you further, we also created the A' Design Award Entry Assistant. We explain you these so that you understand first of all why the A' Design Entry Assistant was required, and we hope you value the effort and time we put in creating a truly valuable good design recognition program that does things right by you. So how does A' Design Award's Entry process work? First, you start with a free account. It is free to create an account and creating an account does not put you under contractual obligation to nominate a design (creating an account don't make you pay for a nomination). Then you confirm your account, after confirming your account you can upload you design. After uploading you design, it gets queued for preliminary jury review, this review process is free, confidential (preliminary results are not public, shared only with you) and anonymous (preliminary jury does not know you) and after the review which is generally completed in 72 hours, you get free consultancy. Your preliminary review consists of several elements, suggestions and consultancy as follows: (1) First you get a preliminary score that tells if your design is good or bad, if your work can win the award, your preliminary score, if your design has proper presentation will range from zero (0) worst to ten (10) best. We need a proper presentation to provide you with a preliminary score that is honest and reasonable and that's why when you join we ask you a lot of information, to begin with you need both images and text explaining your project. (2) Your preliminary review also informs you if you are compliant with presentation guidelines, we generally also provide a second, presentation score, this is distinct from the design score, a higher presentation score means your work is more technically correct presented but even a complete presentation score does not mean it is perfect presentation, just that it is technically correct, such as image resolutions, pixel height and widths, textual description lengths etc, (3) The preliminary juror may also comment on your presentation giving you insights on how to perfect your presentation, this is different from the presentation score that is calculated based on technical compliance, and the preliminary jurors' suggestions are important as it comes with expert guidance on how to better make your presentation for A' Design Awards. To make this score reliable and useful, you should have a proper presentation with correct images, text and other details. In general, when you don't know what to do, you would contact our support, however if you want even faster and instant support, we created the Entry Assistant. Unlike our support which are real people checking your request, the Entry Assistant is an intelligent and capable AI Model that has the A' Design Award's Entry Instructions and Guidelines as its context. With this context, our Entry Assistant is able to answer your questions regarding image and text technical requirements, such as the expected image sizes and resolutions, which text fields to fill and how much data to provide, how to view the preliminary review score and feedback (if you deleted the email, i.e. we would email it to you but if you deleted the mail you can access it from our system and the Entry Assistant can teach you how). In addition to all these, the Entry Assistant could potentially help you make sense of jury feedback and our technical codes and help you make your entry better, for example if the juror said "please isolate the object on background", A' Design Award's Entry Assistant, can help you and explain that it means the object needs to be cropped from background, and the background shall be completely white for example (a requirement that may be for certain award categories, please refer to latest guidelines), moreover the biggest and most important advantage of our Entry Assistant is the fact that it speaks almost all major languages, so you can ask it to help you in almost any language, and it will help you. Within this context we shall remind that each registered user has a set of "assistance credits" available to them, once your Entry Assistant credits finish, you can buy more credits or simply contact our support, we may help you in-person. The aim of the Entry Assistant is to help you make the first entry, so it will teach you how to make your first entry in a proper way.
