Good design is invisible. The focus is not the apartment itself, but the spectacular nature around the residence. Sitting at the peak of Hong Kong, it adjoins a mountain with the prominent harbour view. We bring nature into the everyday life. Natural materials is used with sculptured light create a tranquil quality that blends with the natural environment. Antique furniture from Northern Europe and modern paintings from the owner's collections are another main focus of this apartment.

Winner Designer
Lai Ki Nikki Ho
Nikki Ho graduated from the University of Minnesota (Dean’s List) majoring in architecture and arts in 2005, and obtained her Master Degree in Architecture from the University of Hong Kong. After graduation, she worked in New York, Beijing and returned to Hong Kong where she contributed to various projects, including housing complexes, public schools, hotels, comprehensive development above railway station in QianHai and Shenzhen, and commercial towers, etc. Apart from winning the 1st prize in professional group of GIFT Design Ideas Competition – Hong Kong Science Park in 2013, she also participated in the Venice Biennale Exhibition in 2006 and 2016. She also serves as a teaching assistant for the Master of Architecture at the University of Hong Kong and design critic at HKU and HKDI. While believing the fundamental of architecture is for the people and to the people, she dedicates to community services and exhibitions to connect architecture and the public. She was elected as the Hong Kong delegate for the Dragon 100 forum in 2013 and is working as Dispute Chairman in organizing the 17th Asian Congress of Architects for Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) in 2016, as well as the curator team for HKIA Reveal 2 Exhibition. She likes wandering and dwelling in different cities for different perspectives and new thoughts. She continues exploring architectural language as a strategy in daily life for anyone and everyone.
