In this long and columned flat, designer have separated the space into 5 functional areas which are the foyer, dining area and opened kitchen, the living area, guest room, children suite and the master suite. To avoid this space from looking too long and bare, a raised platform has been added and the original columns were left exposed. A semi-open kitchen is relocated next to the dining room, and a children’s suite and guest room were built next to the kitchen. Original guest room was knocked down to create a larger master bedroom with adjoining en suite bathroom and walk-in closet.

Samuel Chun Him Lam
Samuel Lam was born and raised in Hong Kong. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Academy of Art University in San Francisco majoring interior architecture and design. After working full time for several years, Samuel founded in Him’s interior design in 2010. Samuel became professional member of HKIDA and member of HKDA in 2013. The company is a service-oriented company offering professional ideas for interior decoration, also providing a full range a service varying from space planning, conceptual design, site supervision and coordination with project management. Together with his team, the company designed and completed over 100 residential projects. Samuel’s works has been featured in a range of medias including but not limited to TVB, J2, J5, NOWTV, iCable and Viu. Also, works have been recognized with numerous local and international interior design awards, including A&D Trophy Awards, A’Design Award, Top 100 Designer Award and more.
