The Growing Table is made of walnut hardwood, which reflects the color of soil and creates a backdrop that makes plants more visible. The overall design is an intersection of dynamic movement and static posturing. The table provides a space where plants can grow and be viewed at the table in order to create a place for relaxation and interacting with nature. The tabletop surface diffuses light to create a greenhouse feature. Finally, the table is made for easy storage; it could be knock down into a 26” x 26” x 4” cuboids.
