This design represents the point where industrial design meets interior architecture. Chameleon is a door handle that consists of a main body mounted on the door and the handle formed by 3 separate parts connected to it. These 4 parts are planned to have alternatives with designs consisting of different materials, colors, textures and patterns. Various door handle combinations can be created by the user with different design criteria. Thus, in a word, the door handle design is actually created not by the designer, but by the user.

Elif Gunes and Ipek Memikoglu
Elif Güneş graduated from İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University, from the department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. In 2007, she received her master degree and in 2011 she received her PhD degree from the same department of İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University. She is the head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts Design and Architecture, Atılım University, Ankara, Turkey. She also is the director of graduate program. Her previous professional experience has included appointments as a research assistant and instructor, and she is currently works as an Asst. Prof. Dr. in the same department. She has published articles in various international journals and edited books, and her current research and teaching interests include interior design studio, color theory and psychology of color, color-emotion associations, space and emotion, lighting in interior spaces and wayfinding strategies.
