Idea and Plan series are designed to ease the daily burden of keeping track of to-do lists, organizations, meetings and ideas. The design process started by studying various bullet journals, organizers and sketch notebooks from different brands’, followed by a Q&A among friends and family to get a better grasp on different ways of listing and sketching. Idea and Plan series needed a different perspective. Through word play, contrasting colors, typography and self explanatory content, the series were designed to add a splash of color and fun to one’s daily responsibilities.

Polin Kuyumciyan
Polin is a freelance graphic designer from Istanbul, Turkey. She has graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2011. After graduation, she first worked at Ogilvy and Mather Istanbul and then moved on to Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts. In 2014, wanting a change in her career path, she decided to become a freelancer and founded Polin Kuyumciyan Studio. As a freelancer, she mainly gives service in the areas of branding, licensed product design, presentation design, packaging, catalogue, brochure, social media visuals, website and UI/UX design. In 2015, going after her passion for stationery, she also founded PK Design, a brand for stationery products and more. Since then, she juggles in between designing for her customers and for her brand.

PK Design X Keskin Color
This project is a collaboration of two brands: PK Design and Keskin Color. Concept & Design by PK Design, Production & Distribution by Keskin Color Keskin Color started its activities in 1962, by the production and manufacturing of postcards. It has become one of the three biggest paper-stationery producers and market leader in licensed paper stationery products in Turkey. Keskin Color’s sales team has 19 members and works in 9 different cities in Turkey, getting direct orders from 4500 retail stores. Company attends to 1 international and 12 domestic fairs in Turkey. In addition to these fairs, Keskin Color attends around 60 sales activities every year. In addition to its own branded products, Keskin Color also works with more than 30 partners in 19 countries in order to produce OEM products. To reach international customers, Keskin Color attends Frankfurt Paperworld, Nürnberg Stationery Fair and Dubai Paperworld every year. PK Design is a small stationery brand founded by Polin Kuyumciyan in 2015. PK Design is a line of colorful and typographical stationery products that use slang language mixed with a sense of humor and mostly Turkish street culture. As of 2018, apart from its e-commerce website (pkdesign.com.tr), the brand is also on sale at zet.com, baskasindarama.com, Wish Store, Olmadık Dükkan, Odunpazarı Modern Müze Eskişehir and Kedi Kitabevi Bolu.
