The Family Lounge was designed to give back to the families and siblings of the footballers who play for the club, whilst at the same time reflecting the client’s branding and values. The objective was to create a modern and innovative space which offered flexibility for both guests and staff. This was achieved by using bespoke joinery and a refined palette of technically advanced materials. The lounge needed to provide all ages with a space which they could identify and feel a sense of belonging. The design challenge was creating a space which would last from one generation to the next.

My design objective aims to challenge that of conventional design demonstrating stimulating and inspiring interiors whilst experimenting with new spatial concepts and intensify existing working environments in the pursuit of a visionary aesthetic that encompasses all fields of design. My aim is to create a balance between experimental and reality whilst still retaining a visionary aesthetic which puts people at the heart of the design process.
