It was designed to aim conveying Muji’s concept, a simple, pleasant life and this is good enough. The hotel has a gallery and a book lounge in order to be open to the local community. By using bamboo, bricks and wood which were scrapped from local Hutong area, the hotel space could harmonize with the atmosphere of neighborhood town. Natural materials such as diatomaceous earth, hemp, cotton and stone were also selected to the design of rooms. Anyone who visit the hotel can fully enjoy the local history and culture, and Muji’s view of the world.
