The design team made a great effort to give a good design to the earthquake warning device. The name “epicenter” was redefined in order to mention not only the place where an earthquake starts, but also to refer to the spot where a wave –a sound wave in this case– starts propagating, which is the working principle of this device. The internal modular development and the aesthetics, which enhance a sturdy design, make this device a visual and acoustic interface for the earthquake warning system.
