PLANTS TRADE is a series of an innovative and artistic form of botanical specimens, which was developed to build a better relationship between humans and nature rather than educational materials. The Plants Trade Concept Book was prepared to help you understand this creative product. The book, designed in exactly the same size as the product, features not only nature photos but unique graphics inspired by the nature’s wisdom. More interestingly, the graphics are carefully printed by letterpress so that every image varies in color or texture, just like natural plants.

Tsuyoshi Omori
Born in 1976, he is a founder of triplet design, inc. As an art director and design consultant based in Tokyo, he has been involved in a number of business projects, through which he designed posters, books, logos, graphics, packages, websites and apps. He won several international design awards in Asia and USA. He believes that designing is finding a solution to a challenge and there is no correct answer. Intrigued by such designing aspect, he is committed to looking at the nature of questions given by society or clienteles and presenting answers as concrete and effective as possible, which he hopes to brighten up people’s face.

Plants Trade
Plants Trade has produced botanical specimens. Specimens are conventionally intended for biological research, educational materials or collector’s use. They have been ever used for limited purposes, serving for only certain people. Plants Trade, however, expands the interpretation and reconstructs the relation between humans and nature by putting plants into 8 millimeters thick glass plates to preserve them just as they are.
