Black Hair Salon was locate in the central area of Singapore. The design for the salon was kept simple using geometric shapes, prints and patterns. The salon was also layout with the intention of creating various areas of space with privacy for a comfortable hairdo experience. The products showcase at the entrance acts as a separator and screen for the main hairdo area. The careful use and selection of different lightings for creating the right atmosphere. Individual styling station was fitted with a focus task light as well as a secondary feature pendent lighting for ambience.

Gary Ong is a Singaporean Designer and C0-founder of Charlton Design Pte Ltd, established since 2003. Gary Graduated from Nanyang Academy Of Fine Arts with a Diploma in Interior Design in 1998 and learned the Art and Science of Fengshui under the guidance or renowned Fengshui Grand Master Vincent Koh. With his vast experience in Interior Design and contract negotiation, Gary completed countless successful offices projects, retail and residential developments with his team of designers.
