Chosen one of 'The best gyms around the world for design buffs in 2108' by Wallpaper, U Energy was borne out of a need for respite from the hectic nature of daily life. Encouraging connection and interaction, the gym space is completely open, divided only by structural concrete pillars and the industrial-style equipment within it. The underground gym features skylights to allow beams of light from above, while neon lighting aids progression during workouts and creates a trendy atmosphere. The result is a dynamic, motivational setting conducive for a healthy, energetic workout.

Rabih Geha Architects is a team of architects and designers working to create spaces that inspire. Led by Rabih Geha, the team works on a portfolio of projects that include architecture, interiors, product design and experimental installations. From residential and retail to commercial and recreational spaces, the studio’s founding philosophy begins with context. Each design, prompted by the environment it lives in, absorbs the surrounding physical, social and aesthetic elements to result in spaces that are never dictated by trend or style, but rather built with meaning, relevance and most importantly passion. Defying categorization, RG/Architects' vision is regularly intersected with the demands of their clients and the modern world. In each project, they aims to capture the mood, ambiance and blend the spirit of the space by merging design, architecture and the client’s need – this is the key thread that runs through their work. RG/A is a premised shaped by internal critique, creative dialogue and an exemplar level of architectural and design aesthetics. Geha holds a B.A. in architecture from The American University of Beirut (AUB) and a master’s degree in architecture from l'École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI). He launched an experiment-driven and research-oriented workshop at l'Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) in 2006, where he is currently mentoring Lebanon’s next generation of architects. Rabih Geha lives in Beirut with his wife designer Ghida Geha, and their two young children.
