It is a local headquarters airline based in Shenzhen. In March 2014, Donghai Airlines opened the first passenger service route; by the end of December 2015, according to the company’s strategic development needs, Donghai Airlines has withdrawn all freighters from the company’s operational stage and entered the era of main passenger transportation. In 2017, Donghai Airlines opened more than 30 cities routes. As of August 2017, East China Airlines already has 17 passenger aircraft.
