POC: is a new seegras-based food packaging material which was designed to extend the durability of food, reduce foodwaste and reduce plastic packaging waste. The material is made from sea grass fiber and a binder from the extract of the fiber. Due to the antibacterial properties of the sea grass, a bio-composite can be produced, which is not only easily integrated into the industrial process, but also makes food longer lasting and the packaging completely biodegradable.

Felix Pöttinger Design
Felix is an award-winning multidisciplinary designer from Germany based in London, UK. His studio focuses on innovative materials. After studying Communication Design in Munich and Design & Productmanagement in Salzburg he worked in Product Development at Nils Holger Moormann and as a freelance designer for numerous agencies and companies such as Universal Music Group, Sony Music Germany, Sportfreunde Stiller / Blickpunkt Pop, Admixx (BMW AG), BurdaForward (Brita, Focus Online), Maloja Pushbikers, Fuji Bikes USA, Breezer Bikes...just to mention a few. He is currently studying MA Design Products at the Royal College of Art, London.
