An abandoned, dilapidated factory complex in a no-development zone had to be converted into a young photographer’s studio specializing in automobile, product and fashion photography, while maintaining the footprints of the existing structure. Unused spaces were used to create transition and interactive spaces. The project needed to merge interiors and architecture with the same theme flowing throughout the space, making it look larger. The alterations had to be stimulating, low cost and earthy.

Lovekar Design Associates has worked through different strata of society by working on residential, commercial and educational projects and strives to take design to the masses through its work. They have been awarded many times in the course of their practice for their projects and were recently chosen amongst the 50 architects in India who were poised to make a difference to design. They are also involved in the academic field and contribute by being motivational and design speakers in institutions pan India.

The company is headed by a young and dynamic photographer and his team.Having studied from a premier institute of photography and having worked with senior photographers from Mumbai, he had a good experience to start off on his own. The studio is a one of its kind facility that accommodated large automobiles to be shot and has the state-of-the art facilities and equipment for the job. Located in an Industrial area of Pune, India , which is an automobile and production hub, this is a highly required facility in the area.
