The LEED Gold certified mixed-use development is situated in downtown Wuhan in central China. The features of the building are inspired by and take reference from the local culture, climate and traditions, which fuse with the specific functional requirements of the programme. Where the building’s scale relates to the strong character of its surroundings by increasing permeability through the gentle raising of the building from the ground the design opens up the building into the public realm.
