The coral wall panel is created as a decorative accent for the home. Inspired by the sea life and beauty of the fan coral found in the Philippine waters. It is made of a metal frame structured and shaped like a coral covered with abaca fibers, from the banana family (musa textilis). The fibers are intricately twined with wires by artisans. Each coral panel is handcrafted making each product unique as the same organic shape as a real sea fan in that no two sea fans in nature are alike.

Maricris is a designer who works closely with ethnic tribes in the Philippines and helps preserve their native artistry and ways of life. Since everything she uses is natural and produced using traditional methods, all her products are environmentally friendly. She founded TADECO Home as a livelihood project of TADECO Inc., a banana producer in Mindanao, with the intention to support the wives and dependents of the plantation workers. She draws her inspiration for her designs from nature thus creating organic shapes and patterns in her products.
