The Lantern is a pendant, a vessel, that displays the wearers individuality and can be used as a memento to signify special occasions in ones life. The lantern shape of the pendant is a modern day style of locket / charm bracelet. It differs from the traditional locket as it displays its symbols and charms on its exterior. Each Lantern pendant is unique as it is created by the wearer. The Lantern pendant allows for the wearer to place a scented wafer within the vessel to enhance and bring pleasure to the wearer.

"My work to date is strongly influenced by historical jewellery pieces and ornamentation. My process is to study, deconstruct and manipulate old jewellery and decorative objects, then using traditional goldsmithing skills create pieces, which are contemporary but reflects aspects of their historical foundation.” “All pieces are Limited editions or one of kind. I like each piece I create to be unique and special to the individual wearer.” Katherine Alexandra Brunacci is a jewellery designer/manufacturer and gemmologist. She launched her first collection in 2010 shortly after completing her Master of Fine Arts degree majoring in Gold and Silversmithing at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Since launching her label “KAB”, Katherine has won two international design awards. Her jewellery suits those looking for something classic in style with a contemporary flair.
