The American Museum of Natural History's "Life at the Limits" exhibition celebrates a diverse array of animals with extreme adaptations. It covers hundreds of "super powered" creatures and includes many immersive design elements which engage all five senses. In order to link so many stories together, the design team conceptualized and fabricated mobius strip panel, composed of many segments, that runs throughout the exhibition and provides a uniting thread. Off the central panel lie several vignettes, that more deeply illustrate specific animal stories.
