The "Nautilus Carboniferous" brooch explores nature’s sacred geometries that relate to the golden ratio. Using high-tech materials, the brooch was fabricated using 0.40mm carbon fibre / Kevlar composite sheets and carefully constructed components in gold, palladium and a Tahitian pearl. Entirely hand made, with the utmost attention to detail, the brooch represents the beauty of nature, mathematics and the relationship between the two.
