note et silence is a select shop in Kobe, a port city in Kansai area. ' Humour and Playfulness' were the two keywords when the project started. Our initial idea was to define the shop as a stage, customers as actors / actresses, and the interior as a stage setting. Floating box shaped Wall, Floor and Ceiling are three mail elements to define the space. Based on the idea of 'Stage Setting', we aimed to create a versatile space with a movable box shaped wall to create different scenes in the shop.

Specialnormal is a multidisciplinary design office based in the heart of Tokyo, founded by Shin Takahashi in 2011. For the last few years, we have already developed quite good portfolio mainly in the field of retail shop design. Having said so, we are very keen to be involved in all sorts of design activities - from products, graphics and creative direction. Our latest project includes NIKE BASKETBALL, NIKE LEBRON XI DISPLAY. We are currently working on a few other projects.
