The 'Naming Spoon' came from a need to offer a modern and popular alternative to the traditional Christening present, of a spoon. I wanted to create a spoon that could be personalized and named as a 'Naming Spoon'. Naming Ceremonies, have increased in popularity in recent times. I wanted to create an object, the 'Naming Spoon', to be given at the Naming Ceremony or Christening Each 'Naming Spoon' is unique and can be personalized with the recipients Birth Stone and initialized and can be presented as an heirloom for the families heritage.
