BoBoX is a modular lightweight storage system adapted to the needs of the flexible and dynamic urban lifestyle. The system provides easy and reliable assembly of storage furniture with any number of modules in length and height. Innovative multifunctional connecting elements secure the joints and ensure the possibility of mounting a door or back panel at each box. Doors and back panels can be installed and removed at any time using the connectors and joining elements without the need to dismantle the entire structure. The assembly and disassembly of the BoBoX modular system is tool-free.

Boryana Petrova and Vassil Jivkov
Vassil Jivkov is a university professor and Head of the Interior and Furniture Design Department at the University of Forestry in Sofia, Bulgaria. He is focused on combining furniture design with engineering. Recently he has been inspired by furniture design from thin structural elements and the possibility of sustainable design. He is a jury member of various design competitions. He has won various design awards, including a platinum winner from the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards, the winner of BULGARIAN FURNITURE OF THE YEAR, etc. Prof. Jivkov has published several books related to furniture design and construction, over 150 scientific articles, registered patents, etc. He is an expert in material science and furniture design and construction. Prof. Jivkov is a member of a scientific committee of many international scientific conferences.

BoBoX
BoBoX is a brand focused on developing innovative and functional DIY furniture from eco-friendly materials that are easy and reliable assembled without tools and are transport friendly. The concept of the BoBoX brand is to design modular lightweight storage systems adapted to the needs of the flexible and dynamic urban lifestyle. The minimal do-it-yourself design is based on extra-thin and extra-durable structural elements made of wood-based panels. The BoBoX team also is working on creating innovative connecting systems for furniture. The BoBoX brand was founded in 2019 by designer Boryana Petrova and Prof. Dr. Vassil Jivkov in Sofia, Bulgaria. The BoBoX brand was awarded as Platinum Winner at Grands Prix Du Design, Canada in 2021.
