Ancient trees, the water and nature preserved terraces determined the concept of architect Carlos Zwick. Today, this passive house with its sustainable building materials integrates respectfully into its surroundings. The wooden windows connect the living spaces with the lake. The loggia seems to float above the water and a large maple tree grows through the living room. The large crowns of the ancient oaks and chestnuts take the modern tree house with its restrained wooden facade in their midst.

An international team of architects, engineers and designers working under the direction of Carlos Zwick, who successfully realized numerous projects in more than 30 years of his career. Carlos Zwick studied architecture at the technical college in Munich after having successfully completed his apprenticeship as carpenter. In Berlin he completed his studies at the university department of urban development. The team is specialized in residential projects, both reconstruction and new construction.

From 1986 till 1991 he taught Design and Construction at the Technische Universität Berlin in the department of Cost-efficient and space-saving construction.
