Bubble chair - is not what it seems. From lightly inflated visual forms you can expect airy lightness: but the frame itself is cast by hand from a very robust aluminium. In front of us we have an interesting example of a conflict between form and content, which completely changes features and perception of the object itself. Choice of using aluminium was determined by its plasticity: in designers opinion, this is the most «alive» material out there.

I believe that my work can make people smile and becomes more inspirational and kinder, while retaining the full depth of understanding and design. They can return to childhood, while finding in my objects and interiors a lot of deep connections and comparisons. At first glance, they are funny, but they immerse you in emotions, forcing you to think, feel and understand. This is an allegory of struggle and ironic laughter. We have already managed to win several prestigious world awards over several years, such as the RED DOT (2 awards) Elle decoration award, BEST OFFICE award, C-AWARD We raise the old craft and manual production from natural materials and give it a new vision and modern exclusive design, we use only an environmentally friendly product.

Gorkovenko design studio
The history of Gorkovenko, Grigorii’s eponymous studio, began with the creation of unique individual interior items that were used in studio projects. As the company extended and developed, it evolved to become a full-sized design studio. Different art masters’ skills and their unique visions have transformed into one system. It has become it’s own language of design which has resonated with people throughout the world. Gorkovenko style is the synergy of contrasts, colors, forms and textures. It unites Slavic motifs, bright colors, allegoric images and ironic ideas and forms. Their idea and mission are to create the art that you want to interact and live with, that continues to inspire creativity and beauty to those around it. Items are imbued with the intent to fill spaces with magic and give a sense of uniqueness to every room. The studio prides itself in reimaging natural materials in a different stunning object that turns any space into an experience.
