This proposal is mainly derived from the characteristics of this site and the recent hotel situation. Initially, the planned site was being considered for use as a condominium site. However, in response to the recent increase in inbound tourists and the trend of hosting the Olympics, the area of Hamamatsucho has become more attractive as a hotel location, and there is a history of conversion to a hotel plan. Therefore, the shape of the site is well-shaped, and the lighting conditions on the south side are also good. On the other hand, the width of the front road was narrow, and it was difficult to take volume near the road under the Building Standards Law, and it was such a site. On the other hand, as a recent hotel situation, there is a problem that accommodation-specialized hotels are crowded and uniform design (minimum area, minimum facility, 3-point unit, etc.) impairs the enjoyment of accommodation by users. It was. As one solution to this problem, we took advantage of the fact that this place was originally a residential land, and had "small but highly livable guest rooms" and "various common areas for guests with different purposes". We proposed a stay-type hotel.
