Yuichiro Imafuku, the creator of the award winning interior design work Hina says “Located in Beijing's old apartment, Hina is a Japanese-style bar consisting of a whisky bar and a karaoke room, clad with wooden gridded frames to tighten up the space and create an intimate environment. Backboards of the wood frames are finished with various materials such as sliced veneer, mirrored stainless steel or blue-gray paint to amplify a sense of irregularity, while producing multilayered atmosphere which is reinforced by the reflections of mirrored stainless steels.
