Racha Tarazi, the creative mind behind the winning furniture design work The Fig Leaves Collection explains “Fig trees fascinate me, whenever I looked inside one I became a child who wants to play. This happy energy extended my imagination beyond what is grown in nature. It prompted me to design fig trees of my own fantasy. This is an ongoing project, which started with lighting fixtures and decorative bowls. The lights head is hand-assembled out of interlocking acrylic leaves. Through this elaborate shape light disseminates into beautiful rays, which colors can be mixed.
