About Xinpeng Liu : Xinpeng Liu , born in 1981, holds a Master’s degree in Architecture. He previously served as a lead designer at the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tsinghua University. In 2017, he founded the Natural Space Landscape Engineering Company, focusing on the systematic research and practice of indoor plant landscape, a pioneering interdisciplinary field. Dedicated to “rebuilding the connection between humans and nature,” Xinpeng Liu is a bold pioneer and industry leader in China’s cutting-edge field of indoor landscape. As a trailblazer and industry leader of the “Indoor Landscape 3.0 Era,” Xinpeng Liu integrates vertical greening, intelligent systems, and Eastern garden philosophy to rebuild the human-nature connection. His projects span Fortune Global 500 companies, international schools, commercial complexes, and high-end private residences. He has long collaborated with prestigious institutions such as Lenovo, China Minsheng Bank, BAIC BluePark, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and the International School of Beijing, promoting the transition of green design from decorative elements to systematic ecology. His design works have received numerous international accolades, including the Gold Award at the MUSE Design Awards (USA), the Top 100 Global Innovative Designers title from France’s GPDP Award, and the Gold Prize at the International Sustainable Innovation Design Competition for Human Settlements. He also actively contributes to education and knowledge dissemination as a guest lecturer at the Vertical Greening Subcommittee of the Green Building Committee of the China Urban Science Research Society, instructor at the “Huayuanji Academy,” and innovation & entrepreneurship mentor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, fostering the development of industry knowledge systems.
