I started my career in Colombia in 2004 working as brand and graphic designer for various branding agencies and then I opened my design studio in 2009 and I started to work for clients and agencies globally (NY, Berlin, Paris, Moscow, SF, Zurich among others) on branding, Information design, type design and illustration. In 2017 I moved to NY and I have been working on numerous projects from branding to experiential design and some really interesting typeface design projects for brands and publications.

AWARDS:
As a typeface designer he has won a TDC (Jury's choice) Excellence in Typography for the design of Salvaje, a display typeface family inspired by the birds of paradise. This project was also named as one of the best typefaces of 2018 by Typographica and has been featured in books and digital magazines like AIGA - Eye on Design.
