Interview with Tomokazu Furudate at Sunday 17th of February 2013

FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
TF: I loved to make a computer work with the original. One day, I met a tool called GIMP is available for free download on the Internet, has changed greatly their thoughts.
It is because I think By using this tool, and can be anyone in the world without having to purchase a picture editing software expensive to get the possibility to challenge the design.
I think if you can help in order to form a sensibility as art that everyone has, I have been active now.

FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
TF: There is no studio. As long as there is a single personal computer and mouse, you can make the work anywhere. Even under the sky, even the middle of the night in the park, but also on the train during commuting, you can make it anywhere design.

FS: What is "design" for you?
TF: Freedom for all people

FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
TF: Photo Manipulation

FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
TF: Web Design website

FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
TF: Materials portraits.

FS: When do you feel the most creative?
TF: While you're making the work towards the personal computer.

FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
TF: The overall balance of composition

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
TF: I feel extremely.
