| DESIGN NAME: Aiyu PRIMARY FUNCTION: Shower Machine for Olds INSPIRATION: The flexibility of joints and limbs of the elderly living alone decreases, and there will be a lot of inconvenience in the bathing process. Old people often suffer from chronic cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, and are prone to risk in bathing. Moreover, because the bathroom floor is wet and slippery, many elderly people are more inclined to sit and bathe. We designed Aiyu to help the elderly take a bath more easily. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Depending on the automatic bathing assistant machine in sitting posture, the elderly can complete the bathing process independently and reduce the difficulty of bathing independently.In order to prevent accidents during bathing, temperature control and emergency call and rescue device are implemented.Use high frequency micro-vibration to assist the elderly to take a bath, and have automatic seats to help the elderly stand up. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The machine adopts key control and one-button control. At the same time, it can control the seat movement to help stand. The side of the machine is equipped with a key alarm device to ensure the safety of the elderly. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Beijing in April 2019 and completed in Beijing in August 2019. |
