| DESIGN NAME: The Innovative Skeleton Watch PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fashionable Automatic Wrist Watch INSPIRATION: The products are designed for architects and building engineers, it is mainly convenient to handle work problems.There is no a lack of attitude towards life while working.The design adopts the sum rule ,which makes the prod UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The concept adopts a combination of a building balancer and a watch, it can measure balance if the front of the watch was put it flat.The back side of the watch can measures the angle. The double-sided function uses the space of the watch structure to take the biggest effects. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the watch market, its design solved the situation that appearance of the product, lashed the consumer's vision, and provide a new reading experience. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2018 in Hong Kong and finished in March 2019 in Hong Kong . Mass production in July 2019 China. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Appreciate the beauty of the mechanical watch through an innovative way, engraved glass in part is a new way of appreciation, which can transmit ever-changing sights in every moment. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 42mm x Depth 42mm x Height 10.5mm Automatic mov't size 29.6mm x Height 5.23mm Leather strap 22mm-20mm TAGS: Causal / Skeleton / Automatic / Transparent / Simplest / Fashion / Special material / Innovative RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The vision of the dialplate updates the different angles of the mechanical movement with the change of time. CHALLENGE: The main problem is choosing material and use them well during the design process. The part of the clear dial, the material choices are ZEISS lens, plastic lens and glass. We made the final decision make the plastic lens thicker cause will have more color choices and better shockproof effect. Not like glass easy to break. Also cheaper than ZEISS lens. And the plastic lens is more light, which is beneficial to the movement when it‘s moving.
