| DESIGN NAME: Painting Cloud PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Cantilever System INSPIRATION: It is inspired by the thought of the dynamic learning process between human body and art works' expression. It is aimed to enhance the mutual explorative exchange between art works and space and each individual. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A flexible cantilever system is re-created at the typical office ceiling for transforming it to an art and exhibition gallery. This adaptive ceiling structure fits the existing building structure intimately and at the same time which is reshaping the exhibition interaction and space constantly in relation to contents and multiple ways of display of it in each exhibition future. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Hanging Ceiling Cantilever of Ceiling can adapt the future exhibition flexibly and interact with the changing space and new way of seeing exhibition. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Digital Fabrication, CNC Cutting and Welding and Assembling SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Flexible and Movable Cantilever Ceiling, Light Structure TAGS: Flexible Cantilever, Adaptable Reuse, Animating Gallery, Body and Art Perception RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project is aimed to intervene a light and flexible Cantilever system of ceiling in a limited space in order to transform that to a new art space for dynamic exhibition and interaction. CHALLENGE: The project re-creates the light and flexible Cantilever system for the ceiling for animating the exhibition in a very limited space. This project totally changes the way of seeing exhibition and also reproducing new gallery details constantly in relation of art works and theme.
