| DESIGN NAME: Love of Flower Hotel PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hotel INSPIRATION: With the design concept of green eco-building and inspired by flowers, it is built under the standard of five-star hotel. The building forms are dynamic with interspersed blocks, emphasizing the connection between the interior and outdoor landscape. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Located in the famous tourist destination Million Sunflower Garden in Guangzhou, China, the project takes full advantage of the natural landscape, emphasizing people's comfort and happiness. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Regarding the eco-protective and low carbon building, the basement is semi-buried to raise the elevation of the ground floor, so as to avoid massive embankment and excavation work and maintain the style and characteristics of the original site. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The façade adopts European architectural style with flexible appearance, forming a rich and varied three-dimensional landscape, highlighting the vivid and romantic atmosphere of wedding resort. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The building forms are dynamic with interspersed blocks, emphasizing the connection between the interior and outdoor landscape. The building has clear cut function areas: main entrance of the first floor is in the south; all day dining rooms, lobby and halls are in East and West separately; in the second floor there are mainly Chinese restaurants, private rooms, conference rooms and business center; the guest rooms are on the north side in an enclosed layout. TAGS: hotel, wedding, architecture, buidling, landscape RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Making full use of the surrounding flower landscape, the wedding theme hotel is romantic with full of life. It features diversified building structure and style, emphasizing the uniqueness of each building as well as the integration with the surroundings. CHALLENGE: The biggest chalenge is how to highlight the weding theme and how to create a colorful and romantic environment in the premise of reasonable function arrangement.
