| DESIGN NAME: RED BLACK COMBO SILKTHREAD NECKLACE PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jewellery collection INSPIRATION: Silkthread history dates back to 5000 years and it is considered as a mark of luxury and pride..Red black combo theme got its inspiration from the toda tribes of India-a Dravidian tribal group..They wear embroidered clothes made of red black threads in white background.iThis idea let to the fusion of red black combo silk thread into the necklace. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Silkthread with 25 strands of length 35 cm taken&glue applied at cut ends and dried for 10 minutes.10mm plastic beads wrapped in silk thread and flower caps attached on both sides.Necklace made of 8 numbers of black&red silkthread beads with 8 gold plated stone balls as spacers and assembled with 3 mm white pearls through a 46 cm nichrome wire.Antique pendant with pearls attached through jump rings with the help of a plier.Arrangments are handmade .The necklace is finished with adjustable rings OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Necklace made of 8 black red combo silkthread beads with 8 gold plated stone ball spacers with pearl connected antique pendant .final decoration with small white pearl.necklace attached with hook and adjustable ring on other side.eardrops consist of black flower stud connected to long pearl assembled earpin endedin red dome shaped silkthread jhumka.bangles with red black silkthread arranged in intervowen fashion.you can feel the elegance ,positivity and lightness when you wear the jewellery PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Started in early February 2017 in Madurai and ended in late November 2017 .uploaded the first project in Facebook and received 755 likes.and sold some collection to Oman,muscat FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Fine Arts and Art Installation Design |
