Necklet

INSPIRATION:
Sometimes I cant hearing the horns around when I wear earphones in the street.I found that there are many elder people and person with hearing obstacle not hearing the horns and shouts which are behind them when they go out alone.We use the vibration of the three devices to remind the user of the sources of the sounds.The aim of the product is to use different senses to let people feel the sound.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Neckear is a wearable sound Vibration conversion device,When the horns ring behind the user,Neckear will identify the direction of the voice ,and transfer the sound signal into vibration signal by the shakable point which are located in the left,right and back sides of the equipment to warn the user dangers around him so that he can take emergency reaction as soon as possible,and the same time it can also give out light in order to let users and drivers see the work condition of the equipment even in some dark circumstances

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The user can adjust the rubber tube beside the necklace to make the product fit the body.The warnings voice will trigger the device.The side of the source of the voice will vibrate and emit beautiful halos.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in October 2016 in SYID Studio and finished in February 2017 in SYID Studio

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The shape of the necklet is made of biological plastic .The connecting parts are plastic metal tubes with rubber to ensure that the product can fit everyone. Thenecklet equips with three sound sensing devices to be used to receive the special voice around (horns or other warning voice), When one side of the device is received a sound of the fixed frequency and the other two devices will automatically blocked in case of the voice triggers three devices.The voice signal that the devices collected will translate into electrical signal ,then it will translate into vibration by the vibrative motors installed in the devices.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
We found that there are many elder people and person with hearing obstacle not hearing the horns and shouts when they go out.Some young people like using earphone when they are walking in the street.Accidents are easy taken place to these people.So the aim of the product is to use different senses to let people feel the sound.

CHALLENGE:
How to let the deaf people feel the sound in other ways,The appearance We had considered bracelet,belt,necklace and anklet.And we determined to design a necklace,How to let the product warn the users where the sources of the sound are,How to let the product fit the different bodes
