| DESIGN NAME: Unfinished: Yang Shuhui Collections PRIMARY FUNCTION: Album INSPIRATION: Creating a peeking situation for the viewer, this album is inspired by Hitchcock's Rear Window. Peeking is a kind of behavior that the viewer is either excluded from and involved in an occasion. Only curiosity can turn peeking to gazing. So, the album is designed to dig the deepest curiosity of the viewer. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To dig the deepest curiosity of the viewer, the name of the paintings are mentioned 3 times in the book. But every painting is on a folding page, so the view has to open every page to see what the painting with an odd title is actually about, such as "Toad's oil". "Peeking" is the main idea of the design. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Creating a peeking situation for the viewer, this album is inspired by Hitchcock's Rear Window. Peeking is a kind of behavior that the viewer is either excluded from and involved in an occasion. Only curiosity can turn peeking to gazing. So, the album is designed to dig the deepest curiosity of the viewer. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project takes 40 Days in Hangzhou.
