| DESIGN NAME: Stand Printer PRIMARY FUNCTION: Personal printer INSPIRATION: [Emergence of the necessity of the space saving product due to growing of single-person households.] As single-person households are rising globally, the users who prefer storage furniture or intend to utilize furniture as many purposes has been emerging. Therefore space efficiency is on the rise spontaneously and those who want small electronic devices has also been increasing. Thus, the sensible design which can permeate to daily life is required as the concept of furniture. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: [Stand Printer] Printer design suitable to space. The necessity of the space saving product has been emerging due to increasing of single-person households all over the world. This printer, unlike existing printers, the space saving printer which can naturally pervade our daily life as the concept of furniture. It is designed, not focussed on the printer concept that boasts high technology but on the printer design that fits to our everyday life naturally. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: [Input tray to keep papers tidily.] There is a drawer input tray on the left side of the product. It feels neat to put in papers in the tray and close the drawer. [Output tray which can be slided out simply.] There is a sliding output tray on the right side of the product. You can pull out the tray conveniently from the right side of the product when you print out. [Scan conducted in the input tray.] You can easily scan utilizing computer by putting A4 papers in the input tray. After scanning, the scanned paper is moved out to the output tray one by one, so you can scan several papers at once. [Simple replacement of ink cartridges.] You can readily replace and manage to maintain ink cartridges by opening right cover of the product.
