DESIGN NAME: Coexistence
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence
INSPIRATION: The project probes into the connection and compatibility among various spatial elements and investigates the possibility of coexistence among the three vastly different elements-the medium, space and personage in contemporary design styles.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To achieve the desired boundless design of space where individuals can keep an open mind and treat each other with honesty, the large panorama window and the unobstructed circulation impeccably fulfill the unrestricted open space concept, while the dispersion and reflection of light against metal materials create a spectrum of light.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The motives of this project are the warmth of human beings and the metallic titanium with the coexistence of both elements as its goal. The design of this project elaborates and embellishes the contrasts between the motives. Its interpretation of the motives' connotation brings light to the impeccable linkage between "nature" and "modernity".
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was completed in June 2014,
14F., No.18, Xingyi Rd., Beitou Dist., Taipei City 11284, Taiwan (R.O.C.)
