| DESIGN NAME: Geely Galaxy Starshine 8 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Vehicle INSPIRATION: This executive level sedan features a sleek, decent, and commanding presence by combining the Ripple Aesthetics of the brand and Eastern elegance. The headlights have a sharp, dynamic appeal, inspired by traditional Chinese upturned eaves and the piercing gaze of a tiger. The side profile, inspired by porcelain, boasts a refined, lustrous surface. The taillights mimic the layered light effects of traditional rooftops at sunrise. Six exterior colors capture the essence of Eastern aesthetics. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Geely Galaxy Starshine 8 is an all new premium plug in hybrid sedan in the B segment. From the Upturned Eaves and Tiger Gaze headlights to the Refined and Lustrous surface and Rising Sun taillights, all iconic elements create a proportionate, decent presence. With a length exceeding 5 meters and a wheelbase nearing 3 meters, the sedan offers an executive level spacious cabin that leads its class. It also has an advanced intelligent driving system, making premium smart mobility truly accessible. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Uniquely in its class, the electric executive rear seats provide up to 91cm of legroom. The patented 7 layer cushion achieves 25cm thickness, far beyond its class. The plush back support and elastic cushioning delivers exceptional comfort. Integrated ventilation, heating and massage functions reduce travel fatigue. The exclusive Flyme Sound system in its class features 23 speakers with a powerful 2000W output, optimized by AI algorithms to simulate 4 sound scenes for enhanced immersion. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The seats use water based PVC with low odor and low emission, ensuring a healthier environment for all passengers. The soft materials and simulated suede upholstery in the interior, along with the durable clear coat, offers a refined and premium sense. The paint uses 0.3 micron mica flakes coated with titanium dioxide, precisely tuned through 60 spectral calibrations for a deep oceanic blue hue. The 55 micron clear coat, 30 percent thicker than the standard, replicates the luster of porcelain. CHALLENGE: Its spacious body exceeding 5 meters in length and rear executive level seats redefine premium travel. The sedan achieves a low drag coefficient of 0.25. The advanced plug in hybrid powertrain delivers outstanding fuel efficiency at just 3 liters per 100 kilometers while accelerating from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 6 seconds, excelling in energy efficiency and power. Advanced intelligent driving functions work in tandem with LiDAR for safer and more precise intelligent driving.
