| DESIGN NAME: Sandbox Wealth Beta PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wealth Management Platform INSPIRATION: The inspiration behind Sandbox Wealth Beta came from the need to modernize wealth management for HNIs, who require clarity, trust, and intuitive tools to handle complex investments. Existing platforms felt outdated and cluttered. By leveraging minimalist UI, behavioral psychology, and cutting-edge UX principles, we designed a seamless digital experience that bridges traditional finance with modern, AI-powered insights. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Sandbox Wealth Beta is a modern, high-end wealth management platform tailored for High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) and financial advisors. Designed with a seamless, data-driven UX, the platform simplifies complex financial planning and investment tracking, ensuring an intuitive, accessible, and elegant user experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Sandbox Wealth Beta offers an intuitive and streamlined investment management experience for HNIs. Users can track portfolios in real-time, receive AI-driven insights, and connect securely with financial advisors. The platform’s personalized dashboard adapts to individual investment strategies, providing tailored financial recommendations. Micro-interactions and smooth transitions enhance usability, making wealth management effortless. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began in June 2022 in New York City. The design process included multiple iterations based on user feedback, usability studies, and testing to refine the UX and ensure seamless functionality for HNIs. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Sandbox Wealth Beta was developed using React, TypeScript, and a scalable design system, ensuring a responsive and modular interface. The backend integrates with AI-driven financial models and real-time market APIs to deliver actionable insights. Advanced data encryption secures user assets, while progressive micro-interactions guide users through investment decisions with ease. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The platform features adaptive UI scaling, supporting both desktop and mobile interfaces. It offers dark and light mode, custom investment tracking tools, and a role-based dashboard for investors and advisors. Performance optimizations ensure fast load times, and compliance with financial regulations ensures security and reliability. The system is designed for scalability, accommodating evolving fintech needs. We conducted in-depth user interviews with HNIs and financial advisors, studying how they interact with financial data. A mix of quantitative usability testing and qualitative feedback helped shape the platform’s design. The research led to a data-driven UX strategy, reducing cognitive load and enhancing trust through transparent financial insights. CHALLENGE: One of the biggest challenges was simplifying complex financial data into a digestible and visually engaging format without losing depth. HNIs expect a balance of sophisticated analytics and intuitive usability. Designing a trust-driven UX required refining data visualization, security, and real-time insights while keeping the platform sleek and modern. Balancing compliance with fintech regulations and a seamless experience was a key design challenge.
