DESIGN NAME: Pnoe
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Packaging
INSPIRATION: Pnoë (breath) is a Greek word meaning breath. It also means 'to breathe new life into something'. So I inspired the boxes to be something new, a breath of luxury but also to protect the products properly.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design of a fixed package of mechanical and cutting designs of packaging is based on emphasis of the product, creating an abstract exterior using internal supports with the main material being paper. The outside of the box is pal colors. The box was produced with 2mm cardboard and externally covered with Algro design 135 paper.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Pnoë means "to breathe new life into something". So I designed the boxes to be something new, the outer box as a whole to impress with its size, a breath of luxury but with an abstract mood.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design of the boxes began in July 2024 and their production took place in October of the same year. It took many samples and detailed planning to achieve the desired result.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Typography, crafts and box design techniques. The main element is the abstract design in both the box and the product. Minimal prints and solid construction.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The packages have 4 different sizes depending on their content and use. A square box for the creams, a long narrow box for the oils and a case for 5 lipglosses that complete the collection.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: My client's brief is simple: "create a box that will be sold worldwide". It was a blank canvas and I had to find a way to really develop the product in detail to get it out there.
My goal was to create an aesthetic journey and an exciting experience that touches all the senses of the consumer.
CHALLENGE: The most difficult part of designing the mechanical and cutting drawings was the shapes of the containers that I had to draw and follow so they wouldn't even fit inside the box. All this had to be done with environmentally friendly paper that can be recycled after opening.
