UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design inspiration for the bottle comes from the organic form of raspberries, with a smooth and vibrant red texture that emphasizes the natural connection between the fruit and the wine. The crystal clear bottle cap showcases the natural landscape and reflects the origin of the product. This combination of nature and art creates a striking and unforgettable visual image, showcasing the high-end essence of the beverage.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Feng Shan Yan Yu Raspberry Wine bottle is designed to be intuitive and elegant. Simply twist off the crystal-clear cap to reveal the wine inside. The cap’s airtight seal ensures freshness, while the ergonomic bottle provides a comfortable grip for pouring. Its sleek, vibrant design not only makes it visually appealing but also ensures stability on any surface. The combination of functional craftsmanship and aesthetic beauty creates a seamless experience, enhancing both usability and luxury.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project commenced in September 2022 in Shenzhen, China, was completed in June 2023 in Zhejiang, China, and was exhibited at the Shenzhen Autumn Sugar and Wine Fair in October 2024.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The cap, made with a four-position metal mold, features a transparent crystal top and food-grade plastic with electroplated gold coating for durability and aesthetics. It uses PE and PP for airtight sealing, recyclability, and a compression fitting mechanism with anti-counterfeit design. The bottle, crafted with a two-position metal mold, uses white glass coated with red glaze and pearlescent finish. The label employs embossed gold foil paper, baked at 200°C for adhesion and scratch resistance.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The 500ml bottle, 205mm tall and 100mm in diameter, balances practicality and visual appeal. Its height ensures shelf visibility, while the diameter provides stability and ergonomic handling. Inspired by raspberry contours, the design offers a comfortable grip and pleasant tactile experience. The size fits various shelves, enhancing marketability. This functional, elegant design ensures standout appeal and exceptional user experience, making it ideal for both display and daily use.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This product packaging design research integrates raspberry's natural form into bottle design using bionics, enhancing visual appeal and brand recognition. Inspired by raspberry's appearance and texture, the design features a crystal-clear cap reflecting the product's origin. Methods included 3D modeling, material testing, and user surveys. Results showed improved aesthetic appeal and consumer resonance, boosting market competitiveness and promoting environmental and health values. The design innovatively applies bionics in packaging, offering new directions for future designs.
CHALLENGE: In project development, challenges included: 1) integrating nature with product design via bionics, creating a unique raspberry-inspired bottle; 2) balancing visual and tactile qualities in cap production; 3) optimizing bottle surface texture for mold release and 3D effect. Internal: innovative thinking. External: production tech limits. Driven by consumer demand for natural, healthy products, we overcame tech and legal hurdles, achieving design-production synergy and boosting market competitiveness.
