PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Orthopedic Surgical Robot

INSPIRATION:
An revolutionary surgical robot with superb accuracy,wound and radiation deduction.Less doctor’s reliance on experience and skill.Creative cost-saving pre-op CT and telemedicine,allowing more patients globally share top medical result equally. 200 million patients can’t get fair and proper treats: Traditional surgery suffered from invisible,inaccurate,unstable,high radiation and slow doctor growth cycle. Uneven spatial and temporal medical resource allocation. Non-standardized and large invasive open surgery

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Allow 200 million patients equally share top-level surgical results. A Vertebral Fracture occurs every 3 secs globally with 5year 34% mortality. NS100 enable surgeons reach to top peers. Pioneer 3D/2D fusion tech greatly cuts use cost,help to build a FAIR primary care. Accuracy over human limits,with less human failures,radiation and incision. Surgeon centered design allows constant focus on patient. Lean design fits 95%+ operating room with lower infection risk. Self-healing and anti-disease coating

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
An efficient surgical cockpit for surgeon, used for navigation of surgical tools and implants for open or percutaneous spinal surgery. One of smallest robot(better adaptability) with Superb accuracy:from 5mm(human) to 1mm(NS100). Less incision:from 5cm to 5mm. 70% radiation deduction. Standardized:Avoid human influence. Higher precision and reliability:Multi-aspect active tracking and Superb production accuracy and Precision control chain. Applied self-healing and anti-virus coating for easy maintenance.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in March 2020 in Nanjing China and finished in August 2021. The product have entered into mass production and is used in hospitals.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Pioneer 3D/2D Fusion Tech,greatly cut use cost,benefit primary care. Also realize pre-op planning and telemedicine,break time and space med-resource allocation limit. Accuracy over human limits,less reliance on experience and feel,make surgery more stable,with Less incision and Radiation. Smart cockpit let surgeon focus on patient. Slim design fits 95%+ ORs. Outreach robotic-arm:reachable space 10%up. Retracted chasis:non-sterile part away from patient,less infection risk. Superb voice,touch,light experience

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
Width 654 x Depth 744mm x Height 1530mm. 90% of the materials of NS100 can be recycled, 40% of materials were recycled, including plastic shell and metal structural parts. NS100 also applied Eco-Packaging, including reusable transport case and metal fasteners. Patented self-healing and antibacterial coating, allowing less use of disposable sterile plastic bags and excessive disinfection during operation, reducing the probability of medical waste.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Hundreds of stakeholders were surveyed.Applied in-depth function analysis of competitors,patent layout analysis and protection. Surgical robot is a new industry,products are scarce. Existing products can’t meet needs of primary care:expensive to purchase and use,need additional 3D imaging device to start robotic surgery. Large size affect surgical space,cause safety hazards,only fit for large operating room. Appearance is hard to clean, and easy to be damaged by collision in poor usage environment

CHALLENGE:
-Budget: Top hospital has experienced surgeons,superb resource,require robot has top-level performance.Existing robots has to work with costly 3D X-ray/CT. Primary care has limited medical and budget resource,require relatively good scheme with cost advantage.NS100 provides decent plan to both user. -Size: Large robot takes surgeons’ surgical space&disturb Operation Room devices and staff:safety hazards+low efficiency. -Coating easy damaged by collision,hard to clean Patent coating:self repair+anti-virus
