| DESIGN NAME: Legendary Beast PRIMARY FUNCTION: Illustration INSPIRATION: The inspiration comes from Chinese words and sentences: 'dragon leaps and tiger leaps', 'iron bird flies to Phoenix and crane returns'. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a group of traditional style illustrations, using the twining of two kinds of animals' eyes to express the opposition and coexistence of different contradictions. Chinese dragon and tiger represent the strong male side, Phoenix and crane represent the feminine female side. With some flowers and rocks, it is more decorative. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Illustration attracts the public with strong color contrast and picture tension, and attracts people's aesthetic interest with interesting detail effect. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was developed between the years of 2018 and 2019, in BeiJing and GuangZhou, China. It started in July 2018 and finished in October 2019. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The series of illustrations and expressions are drawn by the photoshop. It is produced by high level printing and manufacturing technologies to show the details of beautiful and exquisite illustrations. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The finished products are handmade paper. It's high 31cm, wide 45cm. TAGS: Illustration, Graphics Design, computer paintings, traditional RESEARCH ABSTRACT: On the basis of Chinese traditional folding fan, combined with the pictures created by modern techniques, it innovates in the retro. CHALLENGE: In the process of creating these illustrations, the main creative challenge is how to add interesting elements to the usual pictures to make the audience feel.
