From solo creators to global brands, from market-ready products to daring concepts and treasured classics, almost every creative discipline may enter. Multilingual works are embraced. Designs can range from conceptual sketches to market-ready innovations, with no constraints on the date of creation, giving recognition to timeless creativity.

From blueprints and prototypes to finished products and built works, entries at all development stages are accepted. Entries to the A' Design Award are open to products, projects, services, innovations and technologies worldwide. Designs may be conceptual, in development, or fully realized, regardless of when they were created. We accept and award entrants worldwide. A' Design Award's openness and diversity multiplies exposure: consumers, press, buyers viewing our winners' list are excited to view works from all countries, industries, cultures and philosophies, leading to discovery.

With open eligibility policy, combined with our large array of categories and ethical judging methodology, we aim to recognize good design worldwide, to drive meaningful innovation, and inspire creative excellence internationally.

Recognizing Good Design in All Industries in All Countries

We respect creative freedom and accept all sorts of works, regardless of methods, materials and themes. A' Design Award is organized under hundreds of categories, with distinct criteria for each award category. Designs, projects, products, services, offerings and ideas in nearly all categories are welcome, except those promoting violence, military use, tobacco, hate speech, unlawful content or overt political messaging. Our aim is to have an inclusive and constructive environment for all participants, in an ethical, safe and culturally respective manner. Dual‑use designs must emphasize civilian use only. Safety documentation and further certification may be requested for entries in certain categories. Only submissions that embody respect, legality, and a positive impact on society are welcomed. A' Design Award welcomes designs from all industries and all countries while upholding respect, enabling outstanding designs to reach audiences, markets and media with confidence. You can make multiple entries, however each work can be nominated to a maximum of five (5) categories, with distinct presentation for each nominated category.

A' Design Award winners benefit significantly from our ethical standards, as the A' Design Award association elevates your brand's integrity and market appeal. A' Design Award has a philanthropic mission to promote good design, superior products and projects that benefit and advance society. We seek for original projects, outstanding architecture, exceptional products, creative designs and ideas that make a difference. Winning the A' Design Award is prestigious also because entries are evaluated ethically, following academic blind peer-review process where the Grand Jury Panel votes on your works on pre-established evaluation criteria. Products considered harmful to society are not accepted. Winning the A' Design Award thus helps positioning your products as ethical and beneficial to society, fostering enduring brand loyalty and global admiration. You can join A' Design Award with already awarded or published works as well as works that have not yet released to public. For works not released to market, for patent-pending projects and trade secrets, we have concealed categories available.

A' Design Award filters harmful and politicized content. A' Design Award winning works align with responsible values and can be promoted safely by media, retailers and institutions. With License and Declaration, our laureates grants us a license to publish their works and a declaration stating the originality of their work, creating a brand-safe environment where your intellectual properties are respected and promoted together with other brand-safe work. By excluding political, military and harmful works, we help make your win more reputable. Our ethical organization and evaluation process contribute greatly to A' Design Award recognition's meaning. Entries to the A' Design Award are judged via anonymous blind-peer review process, jurors vote in isolation; jurors do not know whose works they are voting on, they only see the work, this ensures every enter being voted on equal footing, and helps eliminate any cultural, political, or in-group preference and makes the A' Design Award highly ethical. Global access invites feedback that strengthens iterations, while clear requirements make A' Design Award participation efficient. Our openness creates touchpoints for media, exhibitions and juror commentary.

There are no creation-date or release-date limits when joining A' Design Award. Eligibility is open by design and global by nature. Brands, studios, manufacturers, architects, R&D teams, independent designers, students and non‑professionals are all welcome. Works may be concepts, prototypes, unbuilt projects, market‑ready products or legacy pieces. Entrants need only a free account and the legal rights to submit; English descriptions ensure clear jury evaluation. Materials, methods and media are unrestricted. You may also nominate the same design to multiple categories with tailored presentations. Collaborations are encouraged, and team members can be credited to celebrate shared authorship. Open eligibility directly benefits A' Design Award winners. A wider entry field raises visibility, attracting press and clients. Brands can showcase full product lines. Multi‑category nomination lets you position a design for diverse audiences, each with an optimized narrative. Legacy entries reinforce continuity and demonstrate lasting value.

If you are not sure whether your work is accepted to the A' Design Award or not, all you need to do is to create a free account and submit your design. When you submit your design, your work will be evaluated free of charge during our preliminary phase, during this free review, we will manually review your work and its presentation and assign you a Preliminary Score from zero (0, worst) to ten (10, best). We will also provide you with a technical presentation score from zero (0) to hundred (100). Moreover, you will also get Preliminary Jury Feedback. All three; Preliminary Score, Technical Presentation Score and Preliminary Jury Feedback will be provided to you completely confidential, and free of charge and uploading a design and obtaining a preliminary score does not create a contractual obligation to nominate your work, during this preliminary round, we will also tell you if your design is eligible for entry or not.
